The host was very responsive when I made a mistake and accidentally locked myself out later in the evening. She was able to help me out and even go the extra distance. The property is cute and very comfortable and they’ve done a wonderful job making you feel like you are not in a hotel room, but more someone’s home. Absolutely nothing. I would definitely stay here again.

This is a vintage home with several room rooms. I stayed in room number three. It was clean. It was comfortable and very nice. And it is literally 700 feet from my favorite restaurant in Black Mountain Que sera. I would definitely stay there again.

me and my partner love staying in Suite 4 very cozy very spacious super comfortable bed felt right at home. I’m from the area but if you’re not, it’s perfect to hang out in Black Mountain close to everything very accessible.!!

This is a cozy place! We stayed for one night and found the check-in and check-out processes to be very easy. The host was very nice and always responsive. I recommend this place!

What a great neighborhood! Really enjoyed the location. You can walk to any place in town. Also very close to highway to explore the area. Host was very responsive and easy to work with. As others have said you will hear noise from upstairs, which didn’t bother us. We always travel with earplugs to sleep in event that there’s any noise. Great stay!

Perfect little place with everything you need 🤍 I enjoyed my stay very much and would love to return in the future for my mountain visits. The space was very clean, the instructions were clear, and it’s honestly in a great location. You can hear the neighbors a bit, but that’s expected since it’s a renovated house with separate apartment units, which I actually found very clever!

Black Mountain Lodge is very cozy and comfortable. The location is perfect—you can walk to downtown Black Mountain and enjoy the area, and Asheville is only about 20 minutes away. I especially liked the kitchen and having access to a washer and dryer in Suite 4, which made my stay even more convenient and the WiFi speed is good for my online meetings through zoom!
I definitely 100% recommend this place. Whenever I return to the area for work or leisure, I always hope to book here again if it’s available.

The stay was wonderful! The suite was warm and cozy. As a solo traveller on this trip, my only concern was that the stairwell to get up to the unit was not well lit and has a curve in it from an unlocked exterior door. I luckily know the area well and that it is very safe, but it can be offputting at first glance. Other than that, it was a wonderful place for a quick weekend get away!
