Perfect for couples or solo travelers, this cozy one-bedroom suite is just steps from the Downtown Historic District, with popular shops, restaurants, and breweries within easy walking distance. Enjoy a fully equipped space, fast Wi-Fi, and a comfortable double bed. The suite is conveniently located on the building’s main level.

Good to know

Black Mountain Lodge has five units, each with its own private entrance. Unit 5 is a small, 189-square-foot efficiency apartment located on the far right side of the front porch. Please note that steps lead up to the porch. The apartment has a double bed, kitchen, and living area combined in one cheerful room, with a small adjoining private bathroom. It includes everything you need for cooking, dining, and sleeping. Amenities include a smart TV, where you can sign in to your streaming subscriptions, high speed internet, and a kitchen with a drip coffee maker. The double bed accommodates up to two guests. Due to fire-zoning regulations, cots and air mattresses are not permitted on the floor. This home is more than 100 years old and is surrounded by large, mature trees. Because of this natural setting, insects may occasionally find their way indoors. This is a non-smoking and non-vaping property, inside and outside. Pets are welcome. If you bring one, please be considerate of the other guests in the building. Dogs must remain on a leash at all times and must be crated if left alone. Please do not bring a dog that will bark while you are away.

For everyone’s comfort, this is a non-smoking, non-vaping property. Smoking and vaping are not permitted anywhere inside or outside the property. Please note that we do not have a front desk or concierge, so your stay will require a little self-sufficiency. We’re happy to help with questions or concerns during reasonable hours, but we are not a corporation and do not have staff available 24 hours a day. Self check-in is available anytime after 4:00 p.m. You may check out anytime before 10:00 a.m. on your departure day. This is a very old home with gas furnaces for heat and window air-conditioning units. Because it is a shared building, you may occasionally hear neighboring guests. We kindly ask all guests to be considerate of one another. If you are traveling with a pet, please do not bring a dog that will bark and disturb others in the house. Our address is available before booking so you can confirm that the location works for your plans: 33 Vance Avenue, Black Mountain, NC. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer luggage storage. For the safety of our guests and our home, we’re unable to accept third-party bookings. The total rate charged through Airbnb includes a 15.5% Airbnb fee and 13% in taxes paid to Buncombe County.

This is a non smoking, non vaping property. No smoking or vaping inside or outside on the property. 1 small pet allowed. No pets on furniture. All pets to be in a kennel when owners are not present. All pets to be on a leash when outside and in a kennel if left alone inside the apartment. It is the pet owner's responsibility to clean up pet feces from the yard. For the safety of other guests and the house, we only accept direct bookings from guests that can be verified. No 3rd party bookings.
