Welcome to a charming mountain retreat in the heart of Black Mountain. This spacious one-bedroom suite features a comfortable queen-size bed and a private bathroom, making it a cozy getaway for couples or solo travelers. Just steps from the Downtown Historic District, you can easily walk to popular shops, restaurants, and breweries. Please note that this upper-level suite is accessible only by stairs.

Welcome to Black Mountain Lodge, a five-unit property where each apartment has its own private entrance. Apartment 3 is a cheerful, 388-square-foot space at the front of the house, with beautiful mountain views and plenty of natural light. To reach the apartment, climb a few steps to the front porch, enter the building, and take the interior stairway upstairs. The entry opens into a small but well-appointed kitchen with everything you need to prepare meals, including a drip coffee maker. The adjoining bedroom offers a comfortable queen-size bed, two swing-style chairs, and a smart TV where you can sign in to your favorite streaming subscriptions. Lots of windows give the space a bright and welcoming atmosphere. The queen-size bed accommodates up to two guests. For fire-zoning and safety reasons, sleeping is permitted only on the bed; cots and air mattresses are not allowed on the floor. This home is more than 100 years old and sits among large, mature trees. Because of this natural setting, insects may occasionally find their way indoors. For everyone’s comfort, this is a non-smoking and non-vaping property, both indoors and outdoors. One pet is welcome. If you bring one, please be considerate of the other guests in the building. Dogs must remain on a leash at all times and be crated if left alone. Please do not bring a dog that will bark while you are away. Thank you for helping us keep the property comfortable for everyone.

For everyone’s comfort, this is a non-smoking, non-vaping property. Smoking and vaping are not permitted anywhere inside or outside the property. Please note that we do not have a front desk or concierge, so your stay will require a little self-sufficiency. We’re happy to help with questions or concerns during reasonable hours, but we are not a corporation and do not have staff available 24 hours a day. Self check-in is available anytime after 4:00 p.m. You may check out anytime before 10:00 a.m. on your departure day. This is a very old home with gas furnaces for heat and window air-conditioning units. Because it is a shared building, you may occasionally hear neighboring guests. We kindly ask all guests to be considerate of one another. If you are traveling with a pet, please do not bring a dog that will bark and disturb others in the house. Our address is available before booking so you can confirm that the location works for your plans: 33 Vance Avenue, Black Mountain, NC. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer luggage storage. For the safety of our guests and our home, we’re unable to accept third-party bookings. The total rate charged through Airbnb includes a 15.5% Airbnb fee and 13% in taxes paid to Buncombe County.

This is a non smoking, non vaping property. No smoking or vaping inside or outside on the property. 1 small pet allowed. No pets on furniture. All pets to be in a kennel when owners are not present. All pets to be on a leash when outside and in a kennel if left alone inside the apartment. It is the pet owner's responsibility to clean up pet feces from the yard. For the safety of other guests and the house, we only accept direct bookings from guests that can be verified. No 3rd party bookings.

I love this spot for my stays in Black Mountain! It’s a quick walk to coffee shops, restaurants, shopping and everything downtown has to offer! I can also hop in my car and find mountain hikes and waterfalls to swim. The rooms are cute and designed with everything you need. 10/10 would recommend

The host was very responsive when I made a mistake and accidentally locked myself out later in the evening. She was able to help me out and even go the extra distance. The property is cute and very comfortable and they’ve done a wonderful job making you feel like you are not in a hotel room, but more someone’s home. Absolutely nothing. I would definitely stay here again.
